Frequently Asked Questions

Can I order less than a yard?

Yes. In fact, you can order as little as 1/4 yard -- and in 1/4 yard increments thereafter. To order 1/4 yard, enter .25 in the quantity box. To order 1/2 yard, enter .5 and to order 3/4 yard, enter .75.  Keep in mind that fabric prices are shown by-the-yard throughout the site, unless otherwise noted, and prices will automatically be adjusted once added to your cart.

Do you have a brick-and-mortar shop?

Bloomerie is currently an internet-only retailer.

What forms of payment do you accept?

You may pay with a credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover) or via Paypal. All payments are processed in a secure, encrypted environment. (Look for the https:// in your browser bar to show that you are checking out in a secure environment.)

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do. 

When will my order ship?

Orders ship within 2 business days of receiving cleared payment -- and often times sooner. If you're paying via Paypal's e-check option, please note that your order will not ship until after your payment clears. This can take an additional 4-7 days.

How do you mark international customs forms?

International packages requiring customs forms will be filled out honestly. Packages are marked as "merchandise" or "other" to comply with US federal laws.

Will I have to pay customs fees/duties/taxes on my package?

Each country is different and sets its own rules, regulations, and fee structures. Please familiarize yourself with your country's rules regarding customs fees on packages so that you are not surprised once your package arrives. Buyers are solely responsible for any and all fees assessed on packages.

 

Shipping - Domestic

To demystify shipping costs, Bloomerie offers its Keep It Simple Shipping (KISS) program for packages mailed within the USA. Our simple tiered pricing structure makes it easier to plan your online shopping trip -- and brings it to you at affordable shipping rates. Packages mailed under the KISS program ship via USPS.

Determining your rate is simple: Simply review the tiers below to find the corresponding shipping rates.

  • $0 - $17.99 = $4.00
  • $18 - $39.99 = $5.50
  • $40 - $74.99 = $9
  • $75 - $99.99 = $11
  • $100 - $124.99 = $13.00
  • $125+ = FREE

 

Shipping - International

International packages shipped via USPS do not include delivery confirmation, package tracking or insurance. If you require any of these for your order, you must select one of the upgraded FedEx shipping options available to you at checkout.

International buyers are responsible for any and all customs fees/duties/taxes assessed on your package. Please familiarize yourself with your country's rules and regulations prior to ordering so you understand your obligations once the package arrives.

Sometimes we can ship international orders less expensively than what is indicated during checkout. If you pay significantly more for shipping and handling than what our typical rates, we will refund the difference back to you if you pay via Paypal, or simply reduce the charge to your credit card if you choose to pay by Visa, MasterCard or American Express.

 

Returns

Customer happiness is a top priority! If you are unhappy with your purchase, please let us know by contacting us via contact form.

Our return guildelines are as follows:

  • You can return your fabric purchase for up to 7 days after receipt for a full refund. Items must be in original (un-cut, unused, and odor-free) condition.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable (unless the mistake was ours).
  • Due to copyright laws, patterns, books and magazines may not be returned.
  • Sale and clearance fabric may not be returned.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping charges.

Once returned items are received and deemed resellable, allow up to 10 days for your refund to be processed. Refund will be via original payment method.

 

Lost or Damaged Packages

We cannot assume responsibilty for packages that are lost or damaged during transit. These are factors that are out of our control. If your package is lost, let us know and we'll work with you to track down any additional information that may be available.  We will not reship lost or damaged packages.

 

Privacy Policy

In the spirit of simplicity, our privacy policy is brief and to the point:

Any personally identifiable information shared by you (our CUSTOMER) with us (BLOOMERIE) will not be shared, sold, or rented to anyone outside of Bloomerie. We use your information to fulfill orders, contact you about your order should the need arise, or send you occassional emails if you sign up for them.
