Just popping in for a quick update on the Moda Modern Building Blocks quilt-along. By now, most of you have already received your patterns and kits. Yay! 

If you haven't ordered yours yet, don't worry. You can still order and we'll ship them out quickly! Patterns here and kit here. (As of this posting, only 1 kit remains.)

The quilt-along officially starts on September 12, 2016. If you've got kits and patterns in hand, it's time to start cutting out all your blocks. Things will go much faster once we officially start if we all get this part out of the way at the beginning.

You can find helpful tips for cutting on Instagram @bloomeriefabrics and @craftycop, your official QAL host. 

For those with kits, make sure you start cutting your big blocks out first so you have enough fabric to cut everything. 

Also, it really helps to label and bag your blocks so you can easily find them when we're ready to start piecing the blocks together. (Thanks @craftycop for that tip!)
