The Creative Grids Square It Up & Fussy Cut Square Quilt Ruler is like 2 rulers in 1! Use the horizontal, vertical, and diagonal markings to square-up any block, up to a 6-1/2" square. You can also use these lines to center and trim embroidery designs, appliqué blocks, t-shirt for t-shirt quilts, and fussy cutting prints for quilt blocks. 

The drilled holes at 1-1/2" to 5-1/2" increments make it possible to square up, mark, and add seam allowances to blocks. To fussy cut, center a fabric design within the black solid lines, mark the fabric through the drilled holes, and add the seam allowance (which is marked with the white dashed line on the ruler). Remove the ruler, connect the dots, and cut to size.
